Hellion Turbo has always believed that serious horsepower does not have to come at the expense of streetability — and FordMuscle’s feature on Justin and Melissa Jordan’s 2020 Mustang GT proves that point perfectly.

At first glance, this blue S550 looks like a clean, well-sorted street Mustang. It still has a full interior, factory equipment, and even a child seat in the back. But underneath that subtle appearance is a Hellion Sleeper twin-turbo system helping turn this family car into a consistent mid-8-second performer.
According to FordMuscle, the Jordan Performance and Racing-built Mustang ran an incredible 8.54-second quarter-mile at more than 163 mph, all while maintaining the kind of drivability Justin Jordan originally set out to achieve. His goal was not to build a stripped-down race car. He wanted a true 8-second daily driver — something that could make four-digit power, drive comfortably on the street, and still put down serious numbers at the track.

The foundation is Ford’s Gen 3 Coyote engine, upgraded with valve springs, secondary timing chains, billet oil pump gears, and billet timing components to handle the added boost. From there, Hellion’s Sleeper twin-turbo system with upgraded billet 64mm turbos helps deliver the airflow needed for more than 1,000 horsepower at the tires.
FordMuscle reported that the car made 1,043 rear-wheel horsepower in sixth gear, supported by a Fore Innovations fuel system, Injector Dynamics injectors, E85, and a fully prepared 10R80 automatic transmission. The result is a Mustang that can be driven to the track, click off repeatable mid-8-second passes, and drive home without the drama of a dedicated race car.

That balance is exactly what makes Hellion’s Sleeper system so effective. The hidden turbo layout keeps the engine bay clean and understated while delivering the performance potential of a serious twin-turbo combination. It is the perfect formula for Mustang owners who want to keep the competition guessing.
FordMuscle’s feature shows what happens when smart parts selection, careful calibration, and Hellion twin-turbo power come together. This S550 may wear the look of a street car, but its performance puts it deep into serious drag-racing territory.
