Hellion Turbo Reveals the R-Series Reverse Top Mount Twin Turbo System for the 2024โ€“26 Mustang GT and Dark Horse at SEMA 2026

Bolt-on reverse rotation twin turbos, 1,600+ horsepower, on display in the Addco booth (#23135, Central Hall)

LAS VEGAS, NV โ€” Hellion Turbo today revealed the R-Series Reverse Top Mount Twin Turbo System for the 2024โ€“26 Ford Mustang GT and Dark Horse at the 2026 SEMA Show. It is the first R-Series system built for the S650 Mustang and the newest addition to Hellion’s Ford turbocharging lineup.

The R-Series mounts two Hellion turbochargers on top of the Coyote 5.0, one standard rotation and one reverse rotation, so the left and right turbos face inward toward each other. Every tube, flange and bracket is built as a complete bolt-on system with factory fitment, made in the USA.

“The S650 owners asked us for a top mount system they could show off with the hood up,” said John Urist, President of Hellion Turbo. “We built the first top mount Ford system for the Coyote back in 2011. The R-Series takes everything we have learned since then and puts it on the new Mustang as a true bolt-on. Reverse rotation lets both turbos face inward, so the engine bay looks balanced and the system is built for serious power.”

The base system is a tuner kit and does not include tuning. Hellion works with a network of trusted shops and can recommend one if desired.

Pricing and availability

The R-Series S650 system is $11,995 with 62/62R turbos. As a SEMA launch special, it is $500 off through November 30, 2026. Pre-orders are open now at hellionturbo.com/r-series, and kits ship February/March 2027, with paid-in-full orders shipping first. R-Series for Coyote swaps

The R-Series is also available as a reverse rotation Coyote conversion kit for engine swaps, joining Hellion’s existing Coyote conversion twin turbo system. It uses the same standard + reverse rotation 62/62R turbo pair, and it is installed on Tucci Hot Rods’ Coyote-swapped Ford Maverick, also in the Addco booth. The R-Series Coyote conversion kit is $11,995, with the same $500 SEMA launch discount through November 30, 2026.
