Hellion’s Innovative Raptor R Top-Mount “Mirror Image” Twin-Turbo System Delivers Upwards of 1700 Horsepower!
We are excited to announce the latest addition to our lineup of turbocharging systems for the Ford platform: the must-have modification for the F-150 Raptor R.
Building on our innovative Sleeper F-150 systems, as well as our history of building the first Raptor turbo system in 2013, we are introducing a true “mirror image” Top-Mount twin-turbo system.
“We have listened to our customers who desired a top-mount ‘Mirror image’ high-performance option for the Ford truck platform,” said John Urist, President of Hellion Turbo. “This new system is a bolt-on that provides a true symmetrical, SEMA-quality look. ‘Mirror image’ means the driver-side turbo is reverse rotation and points inwards like the passenger turbo. It is a twin-turbo system that is fully adjustable from five to 30+ pounds of boost and offers performance levels ranging from 650 to over 1700+ horsepower!”
We have spent hundreds of hours designing the finest possible Top Mount kit for the Raptor R. This system solves the issue of having hot downpipes next to the engine, as the piping is cleanly routed away from the center of the engine, allowing full access to spark plugs and other components. Installation can be performed by anyone with automotive mechanical knowledge or at a performance shop. The base system is a tuner kit and will require tuning and injectors. Hellion has a network of trusted shops that can be recommended upon request.
The standard system comes with Hellion 62R turbos, capable of over 1200 RWHP. Hellion offers turbo upgrades, including the very powerful 64mm for those seeking next level power.
Standard with the Raptor R kit is the supplied Holley Intake manifold and Air to Water intercooler. We remove the factory supercharger and replace it with a high flow intake and intercooler that keeps the factory heat exchange system. No more parasitic loss driving the restrictive supercharger!
