When designing the first S650 Mustang turbo kit, Hellion pulled out all of the stops in making the best system possible. One of those designs new to the platform was the direct feed dual throttle body intake pipes. In previous years the Mustang had a single throttle body and it was very simple to have just one pipe feed the intake. Now that Ford has implemented the dual throttle body design, a new approach was needed. “We wanted to shorten the pipe length to have even quicker spool time. We already have instant boost, but the time to full boost is made even quicker with this new design” says Hellion owner John Urist. The future of the S650 looks bright, and Hellion has made sure their system takes advantage of the dual throttle body technology Ford has given.
