Hellion Turbo is once again leading the way in modern Mustang performance, with FordMuscle featuring the first tuned Hellion-equipped S650 Mustang GT on Palm Beach Dyno’s rollers.
The featured car, Justin Burcham’s Next Gen Performance Center-backed 2024 Mustang GT known as “Project 24,” was already making waves as one of the early S650 builds to push the new platform. Once aftermarket tuning became available, Palm Beach Dyno put Hellion’s Street Sleeper® Hidden Twin Turbo System to the test — and the results proved just how much potential the new Gen 4 Coyote platform has with twin-turbo power.
According to FordMuscle, the Hellion-equipped S650 produced 783.78 rear-wheel horsepower and 604.59 lb-ft of torque on 93-octane pump gas while still using the stock fuel system with a fuel-pump voltage booster. After switching to VP Racing Fuels MS109, the car delivered an impressive 909.43 rear-wheel horsepower and 702.65 lb-ft of torque.
For 2024+ Mustang GT and Dark Horse owners, Hellion’s Street Sleeper® system offers a true bolt-on path to serious turbocharged performance. Unlike many power-adder systems, Hellion’s S650 kit keeps the factory dual-throttle-body intake in place, preserving one of the most unique features of the new Mustang platform while adding the efficiency, sound, and horsepower potential of twin turbos.

The system comes standard with twin Hellion 62/62 turbos, dual 4-into-1 stainless turbo headers, a large vertical-flow intercooler, twin Turbosmart Comp-Gate 40 wastegates, twin Turbosmart VEE Port bypass valves, American-made stainless-steel piping, heavy-duty silicone hoses, stainless T-bolt clamps, and high-flow K&N air filters. Hellion also offers multiple turbo upgrade options for customers looking to push the platform even further.
Best of all, the system was engineered with real-world installation and drivability in mind. There is no need to tap the oil pan, no factory sheet metal modification is required, and the kit can be used with the factory K-member.
FordMuscle’s feature proves what Hellion has known from the beginning: once tuning became available for the S650, the Street Sleeper® system would show exactly what the new Mustang is capable of.
