Hellion Turbo was recently featured by HOT ROD for its latest top-mount “Mirror Image” twin-turbo system for the Ford F-150 and Raptor R platform.
The article takes a closer look at Hellion’s innovative twin-turbo layout, designed to deliver big power, clean fitment, and a true symmetrical engine-bay appearance. With the driver-side turbo using reverse rotation, both turbos point inward for a balanced, show-quality look while maintaining the performance capability Hellion is known for.
For the Raptor R, Hellion’s system replaces the factory supercharger with a high-flow intake and air-to-water intercooler setup while retaining much of the factory heat exchanger system. The standard system includes Hellion 62/62R turbochargers, with available upgrades for customers looking to push performance even further.

According to HOT ROD, the system is capable of supporting serious power — with 62R turbos supporting up to 1,200 rear-wheel horsepower and larger turbo options pushing capability beyond 1,700 horsepower.
This feature highlights what Hellion has built its reputation on: bolt-on turbo systems engineered for power, fitment, serviceability, and standout presentation.
